Everyday Portuguese is a beginner-friendly course designed to help you understand and speak European Portuguese naturally, from the very start. Instead of overwhelming you with grammar rules and abstract exercises, this course focuses on how the language is actually used in everyday life.
You’ll learn Portuguese through clear, slow, meaningful input, supported by short stories, recurring characters, and real-life contexts such as daily routines, telling the time, weather, shopping, family, and simple conversations. Meaning comes first; structure follows naturally.
This course blends Comprehensible Input and TPRS (Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling) with gentle guidance and clear explanations, so you build confidence without memorisation or pressure. You won’t be asked to “perform” Portuguese before you’re ready – understanding always comes first, and speaking is supported from day one.
