🌳 Intermediate Pathway (B1+)

⚠️ Under Construction
I’m currently updating this page, so things may move around over the next few weeks. Thanks for your patience!

At this stage, you are no longer just learning Portuguese – you are beginning to live in it.

From B1 onwards, this pathway gradually shifts towards Portuguese-first content. You’ll see more explanations, instructions, and reflections written in Portuguese, just as you would encounter in real life.

Don’t worry – you won’t be left alone.
Each post includes optional support in English, available through a hidden translation section. Use it only when you truly need it.

As you progress into B1/B2 and B2 lessons, the support gradually reduces. By the time you reach higher levels, lessons are primarily written in Portuguese, with occasional links to English explainer posts when introducing complex grammar or new structures.

The goal here isn’t perfection.
The goal is confidence and comprehension.

Welcome to the next step.

Listening to real European Portuguese is one of the biggest steps between studying grammar and actually understanding native speakers.

In this section, you’ll find authentic Portuguese conversation videos recorded with intermediate learners. Each conversation lasts around 20 minutes and focuses on real-life topics, cultural experiences, and natural spoken Portuguese.

This is ideal B1+ listening practice if you want to improve comprehension, rhythm, and confidence.

(Future B1 story lessons will be here.)

At B1/B2 level, you’ll work with mostly Portuguese content.

These intermediate Portuguese lessons focus on cultural topics, storytelling, and real-life vocabulary. Translations are reduced, helping you rely more on context and comprehension skills.

Perfect for learners who want structured immersion without full support.

Vais conseguir!!
