☘️ Saint Patrick’s Day is not traditionally celebrated in Portugal. However, it is an important cultural and religious celebration in Ireland 🇮🇪. Because I’m half Irish myself, I wanted to share a little about this day with you. In this Saint Patrick’s Day (European Portuguese listening practice A2) video, you can practise your listening while learning about this Irish tradition.

In this short A2 listening practice, you’ll hear a simple explanation of who Saint Patrick was and why this day is celebrated. It’s a great opportunity to practise European Portuguese listening comprehension while also discovering a small piece of Irish culture.
